This guide will walk you through the steps to safely deactivate 2FA, along with important reminders to help you keep your account secure.
If you no longer wish to use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or are switching to a different security method, you can deactivate 2FA directly from your SenturoPay account settings. Disabling 2FA will remove the requirement for an authentication code at login.
Step 1:
Log in to your SenturoPay account, then click on the “profile” tab on the bottom of your account main dashboard.
Step 2:
Click on Security tab
Step 3:
Click on “Google Authenticator”
Step 4:
Click on Unbind Google Authenticator.
Step 5:
Click Unbind, please note that deleting 2FA verification weakens your account security and leaving it more vulnerable to unauthorized access and fraud.
Step 6:
Enter the OTP sent to your registered email with Senturopay.
Once you enter the code, you will see an on-screen confirmation message indicating that google authenticator has been disabled successfully.
