This guide will walk you through the steps to request account closure, explain what happens to your data and remaining balance, and outline any important actions to take before deactivation.
If you've decided to stop using SenturoPay, you have the option to permanently close your account. We're sorry to see you go, but we’ve made the process simple and secure.
Before closing your SenturoPay account, please review the following important points:
- Remaining Balance:
If your account holds any remaining Assets, you must withdraw the balance before submitting the account closure request.
SenturoPay cannot process account closures with an active wallet balance. - Pending Transactions:
Ensure that all pending transactions (e.g., withdrawals, swaps, card payments) are completed or cancelled. Any unresolved transactions may delay the closure process. - Linked Virtual Cards:
All virtual cards will be terminated upon account closure. Make sure you’ve updated or cancelled any subscriptions or recurring payments linked to your SenturoPay card. - Account Data & Privacy:
Once your account is closed:- Your personal data will be retained or archived in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable regulations.
- Transaction history and verification records may be retained for regulatory or compliance purposes.
- You will lose access to your dashboard, card, wallet, and transaction records.
- You will be responsible for providing additional information or documents requested by any Card Scheme member for any transaction that occurs before closing your account.
- Reactivation:
Account closure is permanent. To use SenturoPay services again, you will need to register a new account and complete KYC verification from scratch.
Steps to request account closure
Step 1:
Log in to your SenturoPay account, then click on the “profile” tab on the bottom of your account main dashboard.
Step 2:
Click on Account tab
Step 3:
Click on Close Account tab at the bottom of account page.
Step 4:
Confirm the account closure noting that the account will be deleted permanently and you won’t be able to recover it.
Step 5:
After clicking Confirm, if your account has any available assets, you will be prompted to withdraw the remaining balance from your SenturoPay wallet.
Account closure cannot proceed until all funds have been successfully withdrawn.
Step 6:
Once you’ve successfully withdrawn all your assets, click on “Confirm Account Closure” to finalize the process.

Once you click on “Confirm Account Closure”, you will see an on-screen confirmation message indicating that your Account Closure has been closed successfully.
Please note that the account closure request cannot be reversed.
